"It does not matter what kind of healing art you represent be it an O.M.D., Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, chiropractic's, M.D. these monk sets have 1500 years of proven health resolutions."
I had witnessed some pretty amazing things under Mr. Wetzel's lightning fast striking - too fast to see, his not being able to be moved - or even lifted - by two guys, walking down the middle of two rows of my instructors, avoiding all strikes with complete ease, at the same time reaching out and touching them at will. Until now, I had never understood how these things were possible. I had attributed it to some sort of amazing ability of Mr. Wetzel, because, though the instructors were pretty fast, no one approached Mr.Wetzel's speed and agility.
When I saw Al doing the same movements, I knew he had been trained by Mr. Wetzel. Same motions yes, but it was the feeling he projected - just like Mr. Wetzel taught us - a unsettling calm with deadly intent. There is no mistaking it.
I trained with my brothers both at the school and at home, clocking between 25 and 35 hours per week for almost six years, both regular classes and the closed 'upstairs' sessions. That's alot of practice, and I became so fast that I could, with impunity, fake a low sabre and go high, and literally flick a guy's eyelash. I state this because, well folks, quite frankly, Al walked all over me. For you other guys already experienced in the martial arts, compare it to tying your hands behind your back.
Can you say, terrifying?
I couldn't stop his strikes, even though I could perceive they were occurring (invisible striking - an appropriate term). I know this doesn't make sense, but by the time I was able to sense he was striking, he was already returning - rather embarrassing - and VERY unnerving. Here I had practiced all this time, feeling confident that no matter who 'stepped up to the plate' I could prevail, or at least give an honorable showing of myself.
Things got worse. I asked him to demonstrate the difference between an external and internal strike. From zero distance away from my shoulder, Not easy to put 'power' into it. What happened next amazed me, convinced me, and made me decide to start looking for real estate closer to Al!
I'd have to say he hit me twice. First came the shoulder strike. It felt like he hit me with a cross between a brick and a pipe. I had a pain in my shoulder like I had tried to jam a locked door with it.
But what happened about a second later was incredible. My back leg simply collapsed at the knee. Another effect that occurred a few minutes later was a odd feeling of being "out of sync". I felt sluggish and uncoordinated - almost disoriented.
